Ford weight bracket

I bought this weight bracket and weights for my 4610, I see the metal is cut, were it looks like it was connected at one time, did someone add that bar in there and cut it, or was it factory and someone cut it, no big deal just wondering about it.

This Ford weight bracket appears to have an uncut bar.

The bar is factory, and should reach all the way across and be welded.

The back wall of the bracket that bolts to the tractor should be flat. Yours looks bent on both sides of the bolt holes. Take it off the tractor and straighten that back wall and the bar should reach to where it can be welded back into place, and once it's welded it should prevent the bending from occurring again.

Probably was used as a hook point when the tractor was stuck.

Thanks guys, I bought it like that, I thought it was a factory bend, it's been on my tractor since 08 when I bought the weights for the tractor! Lol
