Ford 6600 Front Weight Capacity

Hey Guys, how much weight can the front axle, hubs, etc. handle on a 6600. I know the tires have a capacity but what about the tractor itself.

I am wanting to mount a front tank for fertilizer application when planting. I was thinking a 100g tank so lets say 1200lbs or so full. Will only be used with planter which is 3pt four row (heavy). Will I be ok? Thanks for the help!

You will be fine. 1200 lbs is quite a bit less than the lift capacity of just about any loader that should be installed on a 6600.

I have carried 2500 in loader on my 6610, they are a solid machine.

I've carried big round bales that were way over 1200 lbs out of the field for hours on end with a 6600 and front loader. I did up grade to 10.00-16 tires.

Just make sure that you keep the front axle pivot greased.

I carry 1800-2000 pound bales, upgraded to those tires on my 6610, love those tires.
