See this belt pulley online, user does not appear to know which size pto it fits. I know most of the pulleys I see are the smaller pto. Question, since this one is a metal one what is the chance it would be later and fit a 601?

Possibly an 1 3/8 but I have a metal pulley that is 1 1/8 so it's kind of hard to tell.
BTW the bracket is to run a cordwood saw.
I think my later pulley number start with CONN.
I check my other pulley on the next trip to the barn.

I just checked one of the belt pulleys I have and mine has and IFC and what I believe is a production number of 1758. Jan 7. 1958. My is indeed an 1 3/8. I believe the number on yours is 62657. june 26 1957. Which would make it an 1 3/8 if this is what you have on your tractor you'll be in good shape.

Impossible to determine from the photo but most likely a 1 1/8"

The type of pulley is not indicative of the PTO shaft size.

NO darn-it. I had a meeting that I was sure that I would be home from before sale ended and wanted to see how active the bitting was before I submitted. Guess what - did not make it home. Lesson learned.
