hi I have a ford 4110 tractor 2 wheel drive with power steering , I bought it to repair as it had a hard life with a loader fitted ie front spindles and bushes worn out ( never seen grease in there life) the power steering Rams where disconnected I have since repaired the font spindles and bushes and then connected up the steering Rams and stared tractor up and the steering went to the Lh side hard lock with out me touching the steering wheel and I pyhisicaly can not steer it to the rh side with or without engine running , the only way to release it is undoing the Hydrulic steering pipes on the ram , certainly a mystery to me has anybody had the same fault on a ford tractor like this

The 4110 was a low center of gravity tractor - generally short spindles on the front and small, wide rear tires.
Is this what you have?
They weren't often used for loader tractors but anyone could have stuck a loader on one.
The problem with your steering is probably in the hydraulic block in the steering column.
Pull the steering wheel and throttle handle, then the fuel tank cowel, then remove the 6 steering lines that go to the hyd. block. Mark them so you know where they were.
Then remove the block being careful not to let all the balls, springs and plungers drop out of the bottom. It likely needs a good cleaning and new seals. There are 3 springs in there that could be broken too.
I don't know you skill level but it is not a difficult job if you think you could do a bit of wrenching.
We could guide you if you needed it.
