What are the pros and cons of a Ford 3600 with a factory cab? What is the approximate value of a 1978 Ford 3600 with factory cab and less than 1100 original hours? The tires are excellent. The rims and wheels need paint and it needs a new cab interior.

Whether it's gas or diesel makes a difference in different parts of the country.
Down south, diesels are more popular than a gasser.
Here in cold country, a gasser is as popular - if not more popular - than a diesel.
They are great small tractors. Front ends are a bit light for loader work but there are a lot of them that do wear loaders.
Good parts availability - both new and used. Not complicated or hard to work on. Diesel is a 6000 plus hour engine with good maintenance. Gasser more like 4000 before it needs a top end.
They built quite a few of them but you don't see many here for sale as people hang on to them.
Price?
It's always hard to say. I wouldn't want a cab on one but that's maybe just me.
That is real low hours for a 40 year old tractor but a lot of them were bought for hobby farms and didn't get used much.
Probably in the $6000 range around here.

I would like to have a 3600 cab tractor or a 2600 with cab. I talking about the ones with ford cabs heat and air. The ones I have seen were 7,899.00 range. I have seen three and they were all in that range. All diesel.
