First off, I want to thank everyone who has offered their help and suggestions to me in the past. Very knowledgeable group here with no BS.

On to the question....As some of you know I am still learning about my newly acquired 641. I am having exhaust leakage around the manifold area as well as the elbow connection to the muffler. You can imagine the headache I get driving it around breathing in all of this as it blows right into me.

I have looked at the gasket set here on the site and I have to admit that I am a bit confused by it. Hence, why I have not ordered one yet. It shows 3 large holes per gasket. I need 2 gaskets so as to also redo the intake, again with 3 large holes. I am confused as this is a 4cyl. What am I not getting here? shouldn't there be 4 holes?

Thanks

I should also note that I have recently ordered a vertical exhaust by Stanley as opposed to replacing the stock under and out the back pipes.

The new vertical one bolts onto the elbow off the manifold.

I think you will find that No 1 and No 2 share the same intake hole which is in the center of the gasket. The two outside holes are exhaust ports for 1 and 2 . The same is true with No 3 and No 4 with the center hole sharing the intake for 3 and 4.
