TW35 problem

I have rebuilt the engine on this tractor, and now I keep pushing out the gasket between the oil cooler and the engine block. My oil pressure is 80 lbs. Any body else faced this problem, and/or have a solution?

I'd be willing to bet that your pressure peaks much higher than 80 pounds. I've seen nearly 150 on those before.

Oil pumps are a major sore spot on those engines. I would recommend putting the smaller TW5 pump in it, or else installing an external relief valve to get your pressures down to the more normal 60 PSI or so.
