Not exactly sure how I got in the mix here, but
if you're still having problems, I'll try to
help if I can. A number of questions come to
mind. How does the downshift from 5 to 4 work?
How about the 8 to 9 shift? If 4 to 5 and 12 to
13 have issues, why not 8 to 9? If you can,
snap some photos of your shifters and shift
switches then Email them to me. I will get the
book out and take a look/see at what might be
involved in the problematic upshifts to see
what's common in both 4 to 5 and 12 to 13.
Maybe we can come up with a game plan.
