I'm looking pretty hard at a used, low hour, Workmaster 45 with 4 wheel drive. I see some used ones on-line within 500 miles of me that seem pretty reasonably priced.
The description of the tractor seems to fit about what I'm looking for. Not allot of bells and whistles but a good no nonsense dependable small workhorse. I'm not putting a loader on it.
I don't normally hang out on this board but figured it would be the best place ask for Pro's and cons of this model. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Be aware that the 4X2 transmission is synchronized in 3rd and 4th only.

About two years ago I researched the market for 60 - 65 PTO HP no frills tractors for mowing duty. I rulled out the Workmaster 75 due to the transmission and ended up buying a MF 2635.

I have the Workmaster 55 and I love it. I have only had it a year, so I cant speak for longevity.
I shopped around and was not loyal to any brand.
The New Holland was hands down the best for the money.
