freeze plugs in a 172 cu in, motor

any one have a easy way to install new freeze plugs in a 55 800 172 block.Been helping a friend on his 55 ford 850. It over heated do to bad cooling system removed all plugs and all the other parts and flushed out the block. Never saw that much sludge in a motor but its clean now need to get it done as soon as possible he will be needing it to plow snow it,s snowed on the tops of mountain and working it,s way down to us here in utah.We are at 5000 ft here in heber city Thank Bill

I believe the cup size is 2.069" and I just use a socket to tap them in.

I like to use KD block sealer on the plugs as a sealer.
