What are the differences in a TD 5050 and a T 5050.?? And pros and cons. Don't know anything much about these newer series. Thanks in advance. Chad

Not much is similar other than the engine. The TD series was their economy series made in Turkey. I think it is a really old Fiat design. You can tell it is an economy model - look at the remote hydraulic control linkage. Forward/reverse shuttle is mechanical via the long shift lever to the left of the seat. For occasional use they are probably fine but I'd stop there.
The T5000 series are also based on a Fiat design and were first called the 35 series, then the TL series, and then the TL-A series. There are a few different transmissions available so it could have mechanical shuttle or power shuttle. I know of several in use around here and I feel they are a pretty good tractor.
I've been a Ford/New Holland fan forever but with all the clutch issues I've had on my new New Holland TS6020 it is hard for me to say anything good about CNH these days!
