I have a 6600 Ford That came with a 7310 loader.
It does not go up and down very fast. In fact its really slow. I know this is not the loader that came with this Tractor and probably has larger diameter cylinders than the original loader would have. I think the pump on the tractor is only a 9 gal per min pump. The loader cylinders are 3 inch diameter. If I put smaller cylinders, say 2 1/2 inch would it speed things up a bit? Also the loader is plumped of the rear outlets, would it help to get a direct flow manifold ( sold here) and run to a dedicated valve for the loader. I realize this would reduce lifting capacity. This is a back up loader tractor for feeding 1000# round bales and I don't think it would be a problem. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and ideas.
