To all "4 stickers" out there....we have a 1987 555B that we purchased new. It now has around 4,000 hrs on it. A couple of years ago (it doesn't get used much anymore) the backhoe boom started moving very slowly to the left side of tractor as you were driving. It also swings very slowly to that side when you are digging.....moves normal speed the opposite direction. The stabilizer on the same side also retracts very slowly. Normal speed going down to stabilize. The levers move full travel, nothing blocking linkages etc. The two affected spools in the valve are next to eachother.....any thoughts?? Something blocking internally? (piece of original hyd. hose?....lots of original hoses still on the machine) Cost of rubuilding the valve?? I can take the valve out, just not sure on the rebuilding part.....
Thanks!!
