Ford 801 carb

Does anyone have a float bowl that will fit a TSX769?

I have a carb off an 801 that is in excellent shape but has some damage to the float bowl that can't be repaired. If somebody has a float bowl...please let me know. I'd like to get this carb back on the 841. Thank you.

New floats are easy to come by. This site has then as does tractor barn 800-383-3678

Are you looking for the bottom half of the carburetor or just the float. Would have to look in the morning but think I might have both..

(quoted from post at 14:25:01 11/13/14) Yes, I do have both, used.

Wonderful - I need the lower half, the bowl of the carb. If you'll drop me a PM to [email protected] I'll get a check off to you pronto.

BTW, buggered up threads is exactly the problem. The DPO removed the sediment bowl at some point in the tractor's life and screwed in a bit of pipe...with pipe thread. I didn't realize that and when I replaced the cobbled up stuff with a new sediment bowl, I discovered the mess...this is after I did a major rebuild of the carb, of course.

I'm not restoring the tractor. It's an 841 that ran decent when I bought it. I use it for hauling my manure spreader and mowing. One day the exhaust manifold blew a hole and when I got to replacing that, got thinking what a great idea it was to fix some other stuff. $500 later I've got a new carb, radiator, manifold, and muffler. That will teach me to fix something that ain't broke.
