Hey Guys: I'm still having problems with my 3 point on my 65 2000, you've taught me there is no down pressure but is the some type of check valve that doesn't allow it to come up under pressure? The other day I had the box scraper on and went over a dirt mound and the box just went over the mound and the lift lever came up like it was back pressured. Any help greatly appreciated. mick

After thinking about it, I have a single draft control with a down lever on lower right side on tractor. Maybe I'm just stupid and doing it wrong. Does the draft control work with the down lever down or is it 2 different systems? All of the other tractors have the two lever system together. Sorry for the stupid questions.

There is nothing but the weight of the attachment to hold it down.

For what you are doing the draft control lever should be in the "position control (up)" position. The only time it should be in the draft (down) position is if you're running a moldboard plow or some other such implement that needs to be able to control the load it places on the tractor.

There is no such thing as a dumb question. That's how we learn.
