Ford 2000 - 4100 parts interchangeability

I have a 1974 2000 and about the same year Ford 4100. Lately I have been restoring/repainting tractors. No sooner had the paint dried on the 2000 than someone wants it.

My Questions: The 2000 has a 4-way 6' Auburn dozer attachment. I can not find one on the web and have no way to fairly price it (it's a heavy full frame job in great working condition). Will the Auburn dozer fit on the 4100 if they don't want it? The tractors are currently about 60 miles away from each other so I can't just run out and measure.

Also the 2000 has a heavy ROPS on it. If I took it off to reduce the price for him, will it also fit on the 4100?

Thanks for your help!
On my 9th tractor, but still not a real tractor guy.

Jim.

4100 and 2000 have different rear axles among other things, like front bolster...rops won't swap, I doubt the dozer will, at less not directly, especially if subframed.

Thanks for your quick reply!...
The dozer attaches like a front end bucket loader - 2 bolts on each side and 2 in from the front.

I guess if I wanted to use the roll bar on the 4100 I could wield on bigger plates and then drill to fit. It would have been nice if the attachments bolted right on. I plan to keep the 4100 awhile. It has less than 600 hours on it (Government surplus ... go figure).

the rops for a 2000 is designed around the geometry and weight of a 2000.

welding on plates and different attach points and weight and geometry of a roll? I think you'd have a false sense of security, that, push come to shove, didn't exist.

as for the front mount. look to see the differences in the front bolsters to see if it will fit up.

Thanks again for your reply and input...
I am going to just leave to rops on the 2000. As far as the dozer, I really don't need it as the 4100 has a bucket and would probably never be swapping them on and off anyway. I have other tractors ready to go so I'm not in a big rush to sell this one, someone will like it as a package. Just wanted to explore my options. I'm am currently in the south so the dozer has little or no value as a snow pusher.
