NAA vs 600 water pump

The water pump on my NAA is slinging out
coolant as the tractor runs. Stop-leak and
other fixes have not been successful, so I am
looking at a new pump.

The picture of the pump sold here at YT shows a
short "spool" between the belt pulley and the
fan mounting flange, while the 600 shows a long
spool. Oddly, my tractor has the long spool,
which looks more like a 600 pump.

Did some of the NAA's have this long spool, or
did a previous owner perhaps put a 600 pump on
this tractor? Does the replacement need to be
one or the other, or doesn't it matter?

Thanks in advance.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong because I am not well versed in the NAA
BUT

I think the difference is in the fan blade.

The NAA uses a fan with a long spool
And the 600 uses a pump with a long spool

The exception to the rule is the 4 and 6 blade fan used on the 600 that uses a spacer rather than a long spool.

You need the pump that matches the fan you have as the bolt hole diameters are different.
