28" 6 loop rims fit fine.

Load the other yourself with a burp valve from the farm store and a couple gallons of tv antifreeze, use fuel line to get ballad in, then add water via garden hose, then put cote in, add air to 12 ish psi and go.

Dealt worn tires on ok bit rusty rims, I would not pay over 150$ imho

Yes, eventually. All flesh is grass, and all tires will go bad sooner
or later. If the tire is cracked all the way through the tube will
come out and will pop. Sometimes chunks fall off the tire and let
the tube out. Sometimes the sidewall separates from the bead
and fails there. Sometimes you run over a deer antler or an old
piece of metal and puncture the tire and tube. I have old deeply
weathered tires on my Farmall 300 and have been using them on
it and the H before it since 2010 and they are still working, it is
just a guessing game as to how long they will last. Could be
another 20 years, could be only a day.

Here is a tire on one of my parts tractors. Only
aired up to push around then deflated. This is
unsafe to drive with.

lol
nice pic
I had one like that, that I carefully worked an old auto floormat into the split when it was deflated. Protected the tube from sticks when I was moving the parter around.
Another with a large split in the sidewall, I jacked it up, let the air out, pushed the tube back in. Then put a big steel plate over the split. couple of chains and ratchet straps thru the rim around the tire very tight.
aired it up very low pressure. worked ok....even a short test drive...
(that one eventually split in a half dozen other places and was scrapped.)

Wow, that's scary looking.

So in order to be safe, if I buy the old tires, I also need to buy a parts tractor so I have something to put them on when they fail... I like where this is going

Soundguy, what do you mean by "tv antifreeze" and "put cote in?" I'm assuming these are typos but I'm scratching my head...

So you're saying no more than $150 for the pair?
