801 Diesel Battery hold down

I need some pics of what an original 801 diesel battery hold
down looks like. Ive read a prev thread that there were 2 j-
bolts on the ends but I have 2 original battery trays and neither
of them has holes for j- bolts. Can't find any pics either that
show j- bolts on a diesel. I was gong to make a hold down
from top down coming off the gas tank mount but I'd like to
duplicate original if anyone has some pics, thanks

Thanks Texas. I see why there's no holes in the base plate now. I've got several different printings of owners manuals and I don't have this picture in any of them. Appreciate the reply, thank you.

Haha! Mine's an old piece of metal bolted to the front of the battery box with a inner tube wrapped around it and a piece of 1-by pine in the back...

Just this last weekend I was on a project and rooting around in my elec. drawer. Way at the back I noticed two hold down rods just like the one in the pic. I had tucked them in there when I replaced the battery in my 971 D and the replacement was no where near as high.

I have Owner's Manuals, Owner's Manual Supplements, Service Manuals and Service Manual Supplements for the diesels so it may have come from any one of those sources.
