Since I know some of you here like these. If my grandpa didn't buy it new it would have left a long time ago, because of the poor low flow hydraulic system as you well know :-o The tractor is a '70 and bought new in about March of '71 from Vernon Ruder and Sons in Kankakee, IL. They closed about the later '80s. The bldgs still stand today but there are not in very good shape. The loader is a Schwartz 1800QT and was put on around the mid to late 80s by the dealer. It only has about 3000 original hrs. The first few pics are of my dad and cousin in Sept of '77, then my uncle in April of '79 (his dad bought it new) and the last one in '96. It has been on my to paint list for awhile but hasn't got done yet. My dad bought it from my grandpa way back in the day and we used it back then to pull a JD 7000 dry fertilizer 6R30 planter, cultivate, mow, run augers and haul wagons. It sure doesn't use much fuel though.

Very sharp. Always good to see a 5200. The only way the first two pics could have been better is if he had a Ford tractors and equipment hat on :). Looks like she's tied down pretty good with weights, did you guys do some heavy tillage with it?

I also could use a pair of hand grip fender boots also. along with the rubber boot in the steering wheel slot. Any one with an idea as to where one might get these? Speaking of rubber boots, how about the two gear shift lever boots that look like the original.
