Just about snow ready.

Finally had time to service the 860 yesterday. Just have to put the front blade on and I will be ready for Winter weather. A weather system was moving in this AM bringing some nice temps with it for next week.

Right place, right time, with a trusty cell phone cam allowed me to catch a sliver of sun as it touched the 860.

I guess the sun still does shine down on the old Fords.

Come on Alan. A little snow never hurt anybody.

Around here if the weatherman says there is a CHANCE of snow or some form of ice all the kids get a day off of school.
If you wake up and the bridges are icy or there is a 1/2 inch of snow on the ground you just as soon go back to bed cause all the roads are closed and you can't get to work anyway.

John,
I departed DFW about 8PM last Dec 5 and flew to XNA (Northwest Arkansas). It had started sleeting in DFW and we had to get de-iced to depart. During the night DFW received about 2" of sleet and ice. We finally left XNA and flew back to DFW on Dec 8. I was stuck in a hotel in Rogers,AR where it was freezing and had a foot of snow on the ground for 2.5 days.
Tim and his buddies up north can keep their snow!

Allan...I "resemble" that remark...next time you fly into La Crosse or the Twin Cities in January I challenge you to a snowball fight!

Loser pays for beer and a bowl of hot chile..

Tim ( I may even let you play in the snow with the 860..)

Tim,
Thanks for the offer but I think I will stick with the flights to Mexico in January. I was actually supposed to be going to Aguascalientes last Dec 5 but they cancelled that flight and sent me to XNA instead. It was 75* with cheap beer and tacos in AGU and getting stuck there would have been a pleasure but no, not my lucky day.
Alan
