Lift arm pin replacement ?

Twas looking at the lift arms of my Jubilee the other day, and the pins that protrude from the transmission housing that they attach to are worn more than I'd like to see.

How are these replaced, and are they difficult to do? What't been your experience here?

Thanx !

Pete

The lift arm pins are a taper fit into the axle trumpets and are held in place by a castle nut on the inside of the trumpet.

Replacement requires removal of the axle trumpet.

It is possible to replace both pins by removing only the left axle trumpet.

if the pins are not loose and leaking.. i'd leave them be. perhaps the socket ball is worn some?

as said.. they are not in the tranny casting.. or even the center section.. but the axle trumpets.

got pics?
