Combo tractor/backhoe seat

In the literature for my 4000 Utility, backhoe/loader combo,
it indicates that there was a seat that was 'reversible'
to accommodate the tractor and the hoe..........

Apparently it flipped from front to back??

Anybody got any info on it??

My '68 4500 TLB has one like that but I have no info
on it.

If ya happen to see a label on it or any other info (like a pic)

on my sherman backhoe on my 641. The seat is on a
square pipe. You have to remove the seat and turn
it around to face backwards.

I considered rotating the main seat, but in this case
it would leave the seat almost 2 feet further away
from the hoe controls, and difficult/impossible to reach......

The Ford "reversible" seat for the 4500 does a raise/lower maneuver. There is a small picture in the operators manual for the 4500(4400/3500/3400)

I might be able to find an illustration from a parts list (though in that case you might also, hunting around the new holland site - check the backhoes as well as the tractors when hunting - they have separate parts lists.) Well, it should be with the tractors as it's described as a tractor option. OTOH I find the CNH parts site is not working for me again. The seat "flips" so you sit on the "back" of the backhoe seat as the tractor seat cushion, and the "back" of the tractor seat as the backhoe seat cushion (which is where the ~2 feet of rearward motion takes place.)

(discontinued, of course) If you can link your way in, search on 4500 for the tractor model and you will find a picture in the seats section.

Frankly, I don't know that I'd be all that thrilled with it (mine just has two seats) as one more thing to fiddle with every time you switch positions. It looks like a gimmick to me.
