Replacing a Ford 2000 3 Cyl Gas Fuel Supply Valve

Valve needle broke last night was the original.
Ordered a new one.

Seems straight forward (after draining the fuel) based on the IT shop manual - IT Shop Manual: screw it into the tank and re-connect the fuel line, - but its been with the tractor since 1967.

You folks have any experiences in replacing?

I'm not a mechanic, can do the operator maintenance on the tractor but is this fix above my "pay grade" as they say..

Thoughts would be welcomed.

If you are talking about the shut off valve at the bottom of the tank, then it is real simple. I just replaced mine on my 1970 2110 LCG and absolutely no problem. I didn't remove all the gas but that might be advisable. Just screw the old one out and screw the new one in and check for leaks.
