5200 dual power

I have a 1968 Ford 5200 with a bad hydraulic pump. All info on new pumps has one for tractor w/o dual power, another pump for with dual power. How do I tell if I have dual power. Mine has 4 spd with hi/lo.

If it's a 1968, it most certainly does not. Dual Power came out around 1970 or so.

Dual Power tractors have two oil lines coming into the RH side of the trans case below the steering box.

4 speed tall shifter.

Hi Lo short lever.

Dual power is another hi Lo on the right side of the steering wheel, looks much like the throttle on the other side. No clutching needed for this one.

Some had a foot pedal to shift up and down. later had the lever on side of dash. then they went to a electrical switch later.

dual power would have decals on side of radiator cover, had a decal on dash "to set brakes" and a high/low decal on dash as well.

The transmission decal also would show 16 speeds forward.

hope some of this helps...
