I have a jubile with a live pto in it that works. I dont know much about it except I can see it has nothing to do with the pto it is a clutch to stop the tractor fron moving . Makes me think of a WD Allis Chalmers. Anyone willing to give me some idea what the sherman alone is worth because I am going to take it out of the jubile
Thanks Can post pictures of it in tractor maybe saturday

it's a pinion clutch pretty much. there were hyd ones like the naa used, ( with a nose pump on the main pump ), and mechanical ones for the N series.

Thus you will need a pinion coupling tube and cover plate for your naa to take it out.

i imagine it will price out like a howard. 800$ or so..

I have one in a Ferguson TO30. It stops the tractor as you said leaving the PTO running. There are several around the country. If someone is looking for one it makes it worth more. I wouldn't take $800 for mine. I would say they are rare.

The Sherman LPTO unit is functionally identical to the traction clutch system used on AC WD/WD45 tractors.

A complete functional unit might bring $1,000 if you can find the right buyer.

If I had an NAA and wanted live PTO, I would sell the NAA and buy an 860 or 861 for probably less than $1,000 more than I could sell the NAA for and have a true dual clutch live PTO unit and another 12-15 HP.

About 6 week ago I had a working NAA LPTO advertised here in the classified. Asked $300 . Never got a call.
