i caught a piece of an add for chevy trucks on tv. looked like it was pulling out a ford tractor 000+ series that had a spinning tire.

no diffy lock? no brakes?

Kinda like the V agra add where the guy in a 4WD truck pulling a trailer through a mud hole in 2WD gets it stuck instead of driving around it or putting it in 4WD, the guy in the desert buying a $8 bottle of water at a gas station instead of a gallon of antifreeze, the guy that looks like a hero for turning a breaker on to get the lights working on a bridge or the cliche ad for atv winches where they try to pull a 3ft tall 20 ft log in the middle of the trail with a 300 pound 2WD atv

car/truck commercials.....always funny stuff.
Does it mean we can record the commercial and take it with us when we take a new broken truck back to the dealer?
How'd this happen? I did this.. (showing the commercial)

Like watching a car chase in a movie, or the dukes of hazzard type shows........
and counting times you can say...junk...scrap...totaled..lol

I haven't seen the ad, but I've had to have my wife pull me out with my 2WD pickup when I got my tractor too close to the pond. Brakes aren't of much help when you're in that situation: hitting the brakes on the spinning wheel will just drive you into the pond.

I always wonder why a fast food entrée never looks like the picture on the menu or television, and dont get me started about the french fry container capacity, couldn't force another one in there in the picture, room for plenty on my order.

Yep, I've seen that add a couple of times (during baseball playoffs) I had to to tow my neighbors Suburban with my F150 last year in the snow. I'll be sure and get a video next time.

I think I saw the first one and noticed the same thing. Horse trailer
and older Dodge as I recall.

On the other's comment about commercials and what you get at
the fast food place; been a peeve of mine for quite a long time.
Actually I prefer to eat at home and most of the time come home
from town hungry.
