What is this?

I didn't see this in my manual and I don't know what it does. Any help identifying it would be helpful and appreciated.

It looks like the lever for a Sherman transmission.

It's a sherman combo handle which will incease you
tractor gears to a 12 speed. Pushing the lever in
the down position will get you the low range.
Pulling the lever all the way back toward the
driver (going thru the neutral detente position)
will give you High range. Pushing the lever back
to the neutral position than move the lever out
away for the tractors body (about 3/8") and pull
the lever back towards the driver will get you you
regular gear range.

An increase in your tractors value! like others have said a Sherman transmission high/low gear selector.
