When i pulled the silver screw back by the handle i see an allen head screw, now which way to turn it?

It keeps getting better? When i turn the allen head screw it goes know where, looks like there is a sleeve around the allen head screw itself.I can see where its threaded into the body of the valve, any thoughts? Don

You need to tighten (turn clockwise) the knurled aluminum knob on the front of the valve. It should turn until there is 1/8" or so clearance between the knob and the valve body. With that knob tightened it will be double acting.

The knurled knob was screwed out about an 1" when i got it ,and was set with one remote on it. The wheel was pretty tight.I was able to loosen it and got it to move further out .It did screw out of the valve body! When i tried to tighten, it acts like it comes to a stop going in no further. Wheel says float and has an arrow going counter clockwise.I could only hope it would screw in to 1/8 inch and have double acting.Could i break anything by trying to tighten it?What would stop me from tightening it?

okay.. to play it down a bit...

when you pull the lever one direction, one hose should have pressure,, when you pull the lever the extreme other direction, the other hose should have pressure. Middle should be off.

The knob for float means the when you push the lever all the way fowards it will fist have a pressure mode, and then it will go into a float mode where both ports are non pressurized so that a blade or what ever can "float" along the ground with no lift or push... great for bladeing dirt or snow and not digging in.

sorry if redundant.
