640 Pump Leaks at Bolt Mounts

Hi everyone, I haven't tried removing it yet, but the hydraulic pump is leaking between the pump and engine block on my 640. It always has since I bought it but it's gradually getting worse. Is there a gasket or seal there? It looks like engine oil but could it be hydraulic oil? I checked the mounting bolts and they are as tight as can be; i.e., I couldn't budge them. Thanks for whatever info you might have! Doug

Yes there should be a gasket there or it will leak.
Funny how leaks never correct themselves.

As UD said, there is a gasket, and as long as you are not making engine oil, and loosing hyd oil, its probably engine oil you see there.

Thanks, Gentleman! I'll pull it next time I'm there. Do I need to drain the engine or hydraulic oil first?
