More parts for the 850

Ok guys, just a quick question. I managed to get the top cover off the 850 yesterday and found the cam follower wore near into. I have manuals on the way, but I need to know how to get the quadrant removed from cover. Does it just slide out or is something holding it? Also where do i get a new pin?

You need a helper with a sledge and a punch for a backup as you use a hammer and punch to drive the pin in and out. I have 75 of the pins, new.(7/8 X 5/16) Email is open. Will send you one and explain how I come by so many.

I'm not sure how to use email. I thought about just using a 5/16 drill bit but i read somewhere on the forum that the pins arent quite 5/16.

Thanks guys.

I think I will look around here at work to see what all we have in 5/16 that I could cut down.

Just finished reading through that thread. I remember reading some of it a few weeks ago, but didn't keep up with it well at the time. Lots of good debate on the actual size of the pin lol.
Thanks

Well, I cut down a 5/16 bolt( removed threads and head, used shoulder) from the shop and this is what I have left. Its actually slightly oblong, about .307 one side and .310 the other way. I thought about a drill bit, but really does it need to be that hard? What I made is just over an inch long, maybe 1 1/8. I don't think it will interfere with anything.
