19-209 loader

Is it possible to mount a one arm 19-209 loader on a 1965 2000 3
cyl tractor or are they just for the 4 cyl tractors? If so, how hard
will it be to get the mounting parts? Have a great evening,Lowell

Yes it is possible to mount the 711 one arm loader on the square nose series with the proper brackets. The brackets for the square nose are not as common as the hundred series. It's probably best to find a complete unit off a square nose Or try to locate a complete set of bracket for the square nose then look for a loader. The loader will usually sell for pretty cheap money if they don't have brackets and if you find one with the hundred series brackets you can always sell them.

I'm not sure which tractor that model # would fit.
You can put a one armed loader on a 3 cylinder and the brackets are available for them. They can be hard to find but if you look you'll find a set.
They made at least 4 - maybe even 5 or 6 - different main frame uprights over the years. All were very similar but varied somewhat depending on whether they were hydraulic or trip dump and whether you used a front pump or the tractor's onboard hydraulics.
Also, for 4 cyl tractors they used a 5 1/2" box (1st photo)on the side of the main upright. The 3 cyl tractors used a 3 1/2" box.
If you are handy you can convert one. I shortened mine to fit.
Also, the hip and under tranny brackets are the same for all 3 cyl tractors but there were two different front bolsters used on the 2/3000 over the years so two different brackets were used. Front brackets for the heavy front bolster (2nd photo) are easier to find than for the light bolster (3rd photo)
Neither of them are simple flat flat plates which can easily be torched out like the 4 cyl bracket can.
Last photo shows doubles of the hip and heavy front brackets and one under tranny bracket.

Ditto what the others said, I'm away from my manual for that mast # but if you post a pic it might help us I'd it. As Ud said, the small box units were for the 3 cyl, and a large box could be torched down to fit as needed

The 19-209 is the long box so as others have said needs to be shorten to fit properly. I know people have used the short box with standard brackets hundred series instead of the offset bracket so I don't know if you could go the other way with it on the square nose or if it would put the bucket too far out away from the tractor and more on an angle. UD would know more on the later model which is why he may have cut his box.

The short box on the 4 cyl isn't too hard a kludge. the bracket is flat and the box either gets lengthened, or you angle it in and the bucket tilts a hair, modding the lower strap. the 3 cyl hip brackets stick out though.. I'm not sure a long box would be a good fit.. however a torch and welder will fix it right up.

Gentlemen, don't let it go to your heads, but you are a wealth of information! This loader looks like a long box. It is also a trip bucket that may not really suit my wants. The reason I was looking at this loader is that it is cheap. My tractor is a 1965 2110 with the light front bolster. Given this info I think I will pass it up. If anyone is interested it is on wichita ks craigslist. $150 with good pics. Farm and garden sec. Thanks for all the good info, Have a great evening. Lowell

at least it is the correct price.

you can convert trip to hyd with addition of a cyl, more hyd lines ( if you have the remote capacity ) and some creative welding of brackets. however it sounds like this entire project will be a refab if it's the wrong box and no brackets on hand.

doable? sure.. easier to find a 'more correct one'? sure.

best of luck!
