5610 II power steering cylinder

The power steering cylinder seal is leaking around the rod. The rod end of the cylinder has a welded end cap. The other end looks to have a removable cap with 4 holes spaced at 90 degrees. Holes are probably for a wrench used to unscrew the end cap. Can the seal be replaced from the removable end? I just don't want to ruin this cylinder by experimenting on it. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Shaun, went back to shop to take another look. Scraped some paint and found the butt joint for the screwed cap on the rod end. The end caps sure are tight. Probably have to take it to hydraulic shop for seal change. Thank you very much for the help.
