Revisit; Head gasket, blow by or what?

Looks like it was a WHAT and may be the return line as JimJM suggested. After sitting for a day the "squirt" became a drip and it was evident where it was coming from. Question, is there enough pressure in the return line to cause fuel to "squirt"?

If it is clogged, yes. If not clogged, then it shouldn't have enough pressure to squirt out of the return line.

If the line is plugged, collasped or kinked it could build enough pressure. Does yours have the little plastic resoviour that feeds the intake heater? Sometimes they split or crack.

It is in the tractor hospital getting the charging system fixed as well as the Thermostart and the brakes. We discovered it was the return line leaking when we were loading it. Didn't look close enough to tell where and why. Hopefully it will be an easy (cheap) fix, at least it appears not to be the injector and that makes sense since there was no change in how it ran, just fuel spraying out of it.

Thanks to all, this is a great site!
