Think some of y'all have seen my 641 that I am working on restoring. Was gone for the last three days, and came back this afternoon to stroll down to the garage to find a tiny bit of coolant leaking out the front. Coming from the bottom water pump bolt.
When I first started the engine the other week, I had all three water pump bolts leaking. So I drained the coolant and put teflon sealer on the bolts, filled up, and was good.....until now. Bolt holes were chased out good before hand, and the three bolts are all new, also.
Question: Is it common for these things to be hard to seal up? I wouldn't think so, but I suppose I'll pull the radiator and water pump back off and make sure it's not a gasket messed up and letting it come out around the bolt holes. But maybe there's something obvious I'm missing here.
If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a leak. Especially over that new paint!!!
Thanks,
Kevin
