NAA/Jubilee clutch

I"m replacing the clutch in 1953 Jubilee. The old clutch disk is 9" with a solid steel center around splined hub. The pressure plate (standard?) is non-adjustable. I have on hand a new "heavy duty" 9" Tisco (91A7750WHD) replacement clutch disk. It has 6 coil springs surrounding the hub. The FO-19 manual says to use standard disk with standard cover assembly (pressure plate) and HD disk with HD pressure plate.

What is the difference in standard versus HD pressure plate? I have a another pressure plate on shelf with adjustable fingers. Is it considered HD? If so, how does one set the fingers to proper height adjustment? The caps can be turned. Is a jig or gauge required? Thanks very much for your assistance.

Yes the pressure plate with the adjusting screws is the HD version. The HD version of the disc is the one with springs.
The adjusting screws should be adjusted and staked and out of adjustment screws could mean weak pressure plate springs.
While the I&T manuals are good the Ford manuals are better.
