Went to a auction where the farm that had been in the owners family for 130 years. Pictures are of a ford 4000 they bought new and was their big / only tractor for at least 25 years. Several nabors were that that remember having their corn picked with that tractor. So here is one SOS that earned it keep. Son-in-law said that it was never rebuilt and worked as normal. Only problem I have with him was he also told me that he always used the clutch to shift. I have posted a picture of the inching pedal - note the wear. Also posting a few numbers off of it. I did not expect to see that high of a serial number. Thought the 64 year started about 389xx so expected last serial number to be in the 50xxx range not 75xxx. Did the row crop have a different number range?
