Ok, onto the next issue for my "new" backhoe.
It goes into forward just fine, but when I drop down into reverse softly sometimes it does not go in. Usually I can go back up into forward and bring it down into reverse with a little more force and it will go in, usually without fail.
In my earlier post from last week, someone stated that this was a linkage issue/ problem. So I started looking over the shifter to see how it works and noticed that the 3 screws that attach the shifter box to the steering column bracket have slotted holes. Could it be as easy as readjusting the to shifter box to where the reverse will slide further down? Or is there another fairly simple solution I could try?
After reading over this I know its a little hard to understand, but maybe somebody will understand what I'm trying to describe and can clue me in on if there is an easy fix for this issue.
Thanks
