851 HOOD/SHEET METAL ALIGNMENT HELP!

For the life of me, I cant remember which of the two holes on the radiator support that the doglegs bolt to and which of the 2 on the steering assembly that the dash bolts to..

Also needing hood hinges and not having any luck.

As of right now, I have the dash in the upper holes and the front clip in the upper holes of the radiator support, and each way I try, the sheet metal just feels to be in a bind and doesn't want to behave!

Looks like you have it right for an 851. Top holes, front and back. It also looks like a torch will be needed if and when the front axle center pivot pin needs to be removed.

Appreciate the response.. Any tips / suggestions on what to tighten down first, or what specific order etc? Maybe from there I can figure out where I am going wrong

Don't tighten any until all of them are started and in place. I like to snug the four screw on the back of the hood, blow the dash first while pushing in in the side of the hood. After that , your choice.

Its beginning to look like a tractor again! Need to make another store run as my 2 and 3 year old little helpers ran off with a few bolts but should finally be set! Drivers side dog leg at head light housing was a little bent and that seemed to be some of the hiccup. Thanks again for your help!
