Everett Transmission

I have an everett transmission that came off a
NAA/Jubilee. Will this transmission work with any
other Ford tractors considering the input shaft and
hydraulics? I currently have a 740 that I hope it
will work on, but I don"t think the hydraulics will
work?

The NAA is pretty much a 2 year only oddball in a lot of respects- especially the transmission. As you noted it does not have the hydraulic tubes running through it- they were external. Accordingly the Everett will not have the internal tubes. My guess is that the rear flange on the NAA 4 speed (and the Everett) will not even have the same bolt pattern as the front flange on your 740 rear axle. The easy way to tell would be to get the gasket that goes between the trans and rear axle for an NAA and one for the 740 and lay them on top of each other. Maybe your local NH dealer will have each of those gaskets in stock so you can compare.

Believe that the Everett will only fit Naa, 8n, 2n and 9n. Splines changed on 600 and later. I am collecting all things NAA. If you are not going to use the Everett, please let me know
