Diesel Manifold

I have a customer needing a manifold for his 4 cyl 172 diesel engine on his 900 series tractor. I have one on a 144 parts engine but couldn"t find info to tell if it will fit & work on the 172. I"m sure some of you know. Thanks for your help.

I can't hit the NH parts site from my phone, but check it. I bet you kind the manifold the same. Mind you I've only recently got my hands on a prior diesel

According to the parts site, the 144 and 172 diesels use the same exhaust manifold, part number 310660.

By the way, it must be a 901 series, as they didn't offer a diesel in the hundred series, only in the '01 series and newer.

The intake and exhaust manifolds are separate on the diesel unlike the gasser where they are one unit. The 172D and 144D use the same manifolds- just look at the large casting number found on each manifold.
