3000 lift arms

These last two 3000s that I bought were very early models and both had the lift arms with convertable cat I/II balls.
Kenny kept one set for his 3600 and I kept the other. Am going to clean these up and put them on my 3000.
This set is in particularly good shape - not much wear where the balls fit in and they even still have the little clips on them for storing the linch pins.
Were these lift arms common? I had never seen a set like this on a 3000 before.
They are the same length as regular ones but a little bit heavier

PS,
As I was about to post this I noticed the clips are on in opposite directions so I went out and looked at them. They both look like they are still held on by the original spot welds.
I wonder if whoever built them was hung over that morning and installed one backwards.

I have seen a few dual cat arms, never paid atension to lynch pin clips. How is retainer clip tabs, one looks like been hammered on.

Not at all uncommon. So far as I know not available in the aftermarket. OEM runs $300 per. I've sold at least 2 in the last 6 months.

Those arms are prolly standard equipment on the "SU" tractors, while the 4xxx APs have longer arms!

Myself, I prefer the lynch pin storage loops on the lift rods, as on the newer tractors!

Let me know if you figure out a way to get the broken ends of the ball retainer clips out of the arms (assuming they're still in there)

TIA, Dave

Rick,
$300 per? Ouch! Maybe I should just sell these.
Shaun, I looked again. Both of the tabs have been hammered - slightly.
Didn't mash them all to heck tho.

My 69 has them I thought they were standard equipment... I lost one of the original retain'n clips and got a pack from Sparex... They work but not as good as the original... BTW a MF'er to install... I would like to have a set of lift arms that extend like you have posted before..

I can get a set of the extendable for my new Bota $600... After i get every Hydraulic option known to man on it I will own a set...

I ended up with a used set a few years back, had no problem getting 1/2 price for them.
