Position Control

I have a 861. I have a manual around here somewhere. Key word
"somewhere". I've got to locate it. In the mean time maybe
someone can help.
Since I've had it the lift would only lift up half way. Since that has
been enough to do most of what I needed done, fixing it hasn't
been a priority. I've got a 55 gallon sprayer. Been using the wand
with it. Yesterday I wanted to use the rainbow sprayer on it. Since
it has ROP I decided to raise it all the way up using a come-a-
long. Once I raised it by only a few inches, it raised it's self up
the rest of the way.
My position/draft will only move to the down position (draft) and
then 45 degrees to the horizontal. There is a pipe elbow on the
remote hydraulics that keep it from going to the up position. The
elbow only has a pug in it. Do I need to remove the elbow and
plug the hole so the lever will go in the up position? Is that where
the position control is?
Did a little searching on the net and found this:

"Remember this.
Definition of the 3 controls on tractors:

The draft control: is used to control the depth of the implement
below the surface of the
ground…

The position control: is used to control the height of the
implement above the surface of the
ground…

Float: is used to allow the implement to follow the contour of the
ground surface… "

Have I maybe been running it in the 'float' position? Or does this
tractor not have a 'Float' position?

nly 2. Horizontal is position & pointing down toward the dirt to be plowed is draft.

Wouldn't the draft position have the same results when using a box blade?
Seems like it should sense when the load increases and decreases.
