these engine numbers are obscured by the tractor frame. my son offers no responsibility for accuracy

310845 is the casting/engineering number for the 4 speed transmission housing.
I've never seen one but I suspect that 312876 is the casting/engineering number for the left trumpet for the Offset tractors.
The other numbers you posted don't match any codes that I'm familiar with.
Did you see my photo of an easy to see date code on the hydraulic lift cover? NCA 501 B is the casting/engineering code and 4D9 is the date code: 1964 April 9th.

Looks like your lift cover has a C0NN casting number. That means it was designed in 1960 so it was a later design than the NCA 501 B which goes back to 1955. The Offset tractors probably have a unique lift cover that is different from the standard lift cover. There should still be a date code on it under the seat spring.

it looks to me that it has two lift covers. we will see when the seat and spring are off.
