Distributor O-Ring Size

Dumb question, as I am not finding anything with the search button. I misplaced the new O-ring that I had that seals the base of the distributor to the engine block (134 gasser). I need to put in an order to McMaster-Carr today for some other stuff and would like to add an O-ring to that order, instead of a whole new order elsewhere for just a silly O-ring.

Anyone happen to know the size or dash number for that O-ring? I'm sure it's standard stuff.

Thanks!
Kevin

To answer my own question, and if anyone needs to look this up in the future, it's a [b:3621842898]-216[/b:3621842898] O-ring that works for the base of the distributor (134/172 gasser).

Thanks Royse.

Interestingly, the -216 ring that I used was only 1/8" cross section, versus the 0.139' section of the original part. But it seemed to fit really nicely (with nice squeeze). I know the nitrile rubber will end up swelling very slightly over time with oil contact. Will keep an eye on it and see how it does. If it leaks, I have to come back and edit this post, LOL.

A -216 o-ring has an actual cross section of 0.139" and they call the nominal cross section 1/8". You have the right o-ring.

Great. Thanks for looking that up. I just glanced at it the other day and thought it said 1/8". But cool that actual is .139". It felt perfect squeeze-wise installing it.
