worthless or jewel

Just pulled an 801 diesel out of the weeds yesterday. All my tractors are Farmalls and I know nothing about Fords. I bought it for the mower on the back. It has been sitting for a long time and at first glance seems to be stuck. Thought I would sell for parts. Any thoughts?

Well, it's certainly not worthless. Hard to say if it's worth fixing or best suited to being a parter, without a detailed description and/or pictures. It will be worth more as parts than whole, as-is, but you should figure in what your time is worth. Also figure that some parts will be harder to sell than others...large castings, for instance.

Yeah, if you could post up some pictures, that would go a long way as to telling if it's worth fixing or parting.

Roughly, where are you located?
