The last few months after use you could hear the cooling tank boiling and coolant whose very low. I replaced the radiator cap with a new 4psi cap and replaced the temp gage. I checked the system to 7psi and the cap to 4psi and they check good.

Today the radiator whose 1/2gl low after filling the temp rose to 210° in the first couple of minutes of run time and didn't fall. I shut it down at that point but the engine block whose quit hot and lower coolant hose whose hot all sow. The upper hose whose cold still. Dues it sound like a thermostat problem?

Anyone have a NAPA part number for the thermostat and gasket?

Yes, it could be a thermostat problem. Could also be
a bad water pump. But always check the cheap and
easy fixes first. Is the radiator clean, inside and
out? Is the shroud in place? Fan belt snug?

Could well be the thermostat if getting bad or the system is clogged up or both. Me I would probably replace the thermostat and also do a vinegar flush to clean the cooling system out

Replace (or temporarily remove) the thermostat first.

If no change, remove the water pump and inspect the impeller for wear (or simply replace the pump). Water pump impellers do deteriorate with use and age, and finding an impeller that has eroded such as to be no longer effective in an antique tractor is not unique.
