Though I've not tried this, I've been told that a 45 lb. pie weight segment will fit in a USPS priority mail box and ship for around $14.00.

A couple of years ago I mailed some pie weight segments. As I recall I was able to get 2 of the 30 lb segments in a large flat rate box for about $11.00. Of course postage rates have increased since then.

45 lb weights will not fit in a large flat rate box.
30 lb weights will.
Reminds me I have two I need to mail...

I HAD 9 45#ers and 5 30#ers,BUT,I have a couple of guys figuring how to transport some, I'm not sure how many. My email is mameyer (at) netins.net
