Driving US 75

South of Topeka, KS north of Lyndon, KS. On the west side of the hwy there are two Ford tractors that appear to be positioned for sale. By the time I noticed, what I was looking for was to see if the 801 was a Select-O-Speed. It sure was! The other may have been an NAA or 600 series. I didn't notice any for sale signs. Had I been in something other than my 20 wheeler, I may have turned around for a closer look.

Anyone in that area know the story on these tractors or to whom they might belong?

Hey thanks for the heads up. If I don't get a bargin and buy it I'll let you know details on it. LOL,just yanking your chain Larry but that has actually happened to some of us.

if the naa didn't have a for sale sign they probably used it to drag the 801 SOS up to the road for sale. ;)

just yanking your chain too. :)

Well . . . what can I say???? I was so busy checking to see if one of these was an SOS that I totally screwed up the ID of the other one. It is an 841D. How do I know? My return route changed from what I'd thought it would be and I came right back up US 75.

Neither of them is any bargain, IMHO. They are likely priced right for the shape they're in though.

Seller wants 3250 for the SOS. It still has the 312259 transmission. The seller says it's had a rebuilt input shaft because the splines wore out. It has power steering, but he says it doesn't work well. It does have PA rims that appear to be in great shape with 14.9-28 tires that don't have the new worn off them. They are Titan tires. The front tires are not bad either. Tin is good, but paint is not shiny.

He wants 5000 for the 841. It sounds as though the engine and injection system are rebuilt. It has new paint. Its rear tires are not as sharp as the SOS, but they're still in great shape.

The only claim I have in representing these here is that I happened to drive by and see them. If anyone wants the seller's phone #, send me an email. My email is open in modern view.
