WAS BUSHHOGING FOR ABOUT 2 HOUR AND TRACTOR SLOWLY LOST POWER AS IF IT WAS OUT OF DIESEL. STILL HAVE 1/2 TANK.
OPEN BLEEDER ON SIDE OF FUEL PUMP AND SPIN MOTOR FUEL FLIES OUT A FEW FEET. LOOSEN LINES AT INJECTOR DOES NOT SEEM IT HAVE ANY FUEL. ANY IDEAS?

First off... Most folks take TYPING IN ALL CAPS as if you're shouting at them.

Second. if you're asking about a Ford 4000 or 2000, please specify whether it is the earlier 4 cylinder version or the later 3 cylinder version.

I would need to know a little more about which pump you have. Old 4000 would have a roosa pump. Mid 4000 a Simms. Late 4000 will have a CAV. Either way I can help you out. I NEVER charge for over the phone advise. Give me a call and I can help you figure this problem out. I have repaired hundreds of each of these pumps. Al

I don't think the 4000 was ever made with a Simms. The 4 cylinders were all Roosa Master and the 3 cylinders were all CAV. In the 3 cylinder thousand series. only the 3000 ever had the Simms.
